The city's annual Sing For Hope program will run for the next two weeks.
Organizers will deploy 50 uniquely designed pianos to parks across New York.
The pianos are open to everyone -- no experience required.
Dr. Cary Goodman, the director of the 161st Street Business Improvement District, is encouraging people to participate in the program by going to their local parks and playing.
In the Bronx, residents can visit the Joyce Kilmer, Van Cortlandt, Westchester Square and Poe parks, along with the Willis Avenue Community Garden and the Bartow Pell Mansion Museum.
