Several communities in southwestern Connecticut held ceremonies and services to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Monday.
In Bridgeport, a parade with many teen participants was held in memory of Dr. King. It started at Baldwin Street and proceeded to St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for a remembrance service.
During the service, several letters from children about the theme ?What have we done since you?ve been gone?? were read. Rev. Sultan Stack Jr. says it is important to get young people involved.
Ceremonies were also held in Norwalk, Hartford, New Canaan and Greenwich to honor Dr. King.
