Funeral arrangements for the state trooper killed in a crash with a truck are set to take place in Southington.

The service for State Trooper Danielle Miller begins Saturday at 1 p.m.

Trooper Miller was killed last week when her state police car collided head-on with a pickup truck Saturday night in Walcott.

At the time of the crash, Miller was off duty and out of uniform.

Miller had been with the state police since 2014, and was assigned to Troop L in Litchfield.

Several police departments from across the state are expected to attend the service.
