A Torrington man is in custody after allegedly breaking into a pregnant woman's home and attacking her, according to police.
Officials say 32-year-old Sebastian Bloom entered the Lewis Street home, assaulted the woman and then blocked her from leaving the house. They say Bloom then punched out a window and kicked a TV down a flight of stairs.
Police were able to arrest Bloom after a brief struggle outside the house.
Bloom faces multiple charges including home invasion and second-degree threatening.
The 32-year-old is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
