Southbury officials held a special meeting Monday night where the public could share their experiences with the town’s response to a tornado in May.
Officials are calling the tornado the worst disaster Southbury has seen in decades.
Some attendees criticized the response, while others were more positive.
First Selectman Jeff Manville said, “In any natural disaster, anything could be improved, there are always mistakes made. I will be the first to admit there were some mistakes.”
Southbury will hold a second meeting on July 16.
People can also mail or email their feedback to town hall.
