A Sunset Park brewery is offering a unique exercise event with a side of female empowerment.

Five Boroughs Brewing Company hosted a beer and yoga class event Sunday as part of Beers Without Beards Craft Beer Week, an effort by Beer Fit Club and Hop Culture Magazine to celebrate women in craft beer.

Sunday’s event marked one of 12 unique events seeking to empower the role of all women in craft beer.

The yoga class included traditional poses with a side of beer. From “Drunken Warrior” to “Earn Your Beer” pose, attendees were invited to challenge themselves not to spill a drop of their drinks.

A third of the profits will be donated to the Pink Boots Society, an organization that supports women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.
