A Vineland man is accused of threatening a corrections officer with a knife, state police say.
Police say officers responded to a call in Commercial Township on Dec. 30 for a man slumped over inside his car.
An off-duty corrections officer apparently attempted to help 48-year-old Eric Winter when police say he got out his car and wielded a knife. Police say Winter then took off.
State troopers were able to locate Winter. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and DUI.
