In a few months, the world's best golfers will hit the Bethpage Black Golf Course again to show off their skills.
Bethpage Black Golf Course's director of golf has an overview of Hole #11.
The 11th hole is a 435-yard part 4 but the tricky part is the tee shot. The wind is normally in the players face, so a lot of short hitters can't even make the fairway and aim for the walking path. In addition, the landing area is in an awkward angle with bunkers on the left-hand side.
The second shot is just as tricky. It's a long shot into a very narrow green. The green slopes severely front to back and the front of the green is surrounded by bunkers. Should a player hit it over the green it's a tricky shot over the hill and it's tough to stop that pitch shot. The green is very shallow on this hole so it's probably going to take a few big numbers.
