A Bridgeport woman who cares for her son with cerebral palsy and elderly mother received a new $1,000 hydraulic lift Saturday that was donated by a News 12 Connecticut viewer.
Joulaine Cyril will use the lift to help move her 18-year-old son and her 81-year-old mother, who recently had a stroke.
"I want to say thank you for Mr. Frank, Channel 12, for everything you do for me. I'm so glad, I'm so glad for you," Cyril said.
"The spirit of Christmas is alive and well. We have a donor who made this lady's year," said Norwalk resident Johnny Flynn, who delivered the lift to Cyril.
The donor asked to remain anonymous.
