New York state's federal primary for Democrats was Tuesday and two congressional seats in the Bronx were available.

For the first time in 46 years, Rep. Charles B Rangel, of the 13th District, was not on the ballot. 

Eight Democrats are vying for his seat.

For District 15, voters chose incumbent Rep. Jose E. Serrano.
