Darien police say they arrested two people today for breaking into and stealing from at least 10 cars.

Police say the arrests took place this morning around Intervale and Devon roads.

Officers say a resident saw two young men stealing from her neighbor's car. Police quickly arrived on scene and say they arrested one of the suspects, a 17-year-old from Stamford.

Police say they found the second suspect, Karon McCollum, 18, in Woodland Park. Officers say McCollum initially tried to resist arrest, causing an officer to use a Taser on him.

Both were found with checkbooks, loose change, cellphones, chargers and a watch in their possession.

The 17-year-old was released to a family member this morning. McCollum is still in custody. Both were charged with multiple counts of burglary.

All of the victims left their cars unlocked.
