Two Connecticut residents were arrested following the storming of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, Metro Police confirmed.

Two Connecticut residents were arrested following the storming of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, Metro Police confirmed.
Maurcio Mendez, 40, and Victoria Bergeson, 40, were arrested following violent riots at the U.S. Capitol.
At least four people were killed, and police recovered two pipe bombs and a rifle.
Metro Police did not say what charges Mendez and Bergeson are facing.
