Police are investigating Friday a home invasion in Redding that led to an assault.
Currently, two suspects are in custody and police are looking for a third.
John Nedochidko and Vasyl Mykytchak allegedly invaded the home on Olmstead Road Thursday just before midnight. According to police, an argument between the men led to the assault. The victim's daughter, 19-year-old Oksana Tverdohlib, called 911 and fought the attackers. Tverdohlib said that her father was even hit "with a battery from a drill."
According to police, Nedochidko and Mykytchak knew the victim. Chief Douglas Fuchs, of the Redding Police Department, said that it was comforting to know that this was not a random act.
The suspects are facing home invasion and assault charges.
Police have few leads on the third suspect and are looking for a dark-colored Sedan that the suspect is believed to have been driving.
