Fire officials responded to a head-on collision in Norwalk that pinned down both drivers.
It happened late Friday night on Winfield Street.
Firefighters say it took them about 45 minutes to free both drivers.
The women were taken to Norwalk Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating what caused the accident.
