Police in Milford say they recently arrested two teens who engaged in reckless driving as part of a tribute.
According to police, both teens claimed they were trying to memorialize three city teens who died in a one-car crash last month.
Milford Police Chief Keith Mello says they arrested one teen just after the fatal Feb. 11 crash for doing doughnuts on the Milford Green. According to Mello, another teen was arrested last week, yards away from a memorial for the three teens at the Westfield Connecticut Post Mall.
Mello says the teen that was arrested last week spun his tires in a parking lot, which created a cloud of smoke that made it dangerous for others.
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating what caused the deadly February crash.
