Wilton fire officials say two women are recovering in the hospital today after their car plunged into a pond.
It happened near Horseshoe Pond on Monday afternoon.
Police say the driver of that car made it out of the vehicle before they got there.
Wilton's dive team helped keep the gas tank from leaking until the car could be towed.
