Polie say a man accused of drunk driving in Greenwich hit two cars on Tuesday night and fled the scene.
Police responded to a hit-and-run in the area of Lincoln and Milbank avenues around 7 p.m., according to authorities.
Police say they then found 45-year-old Richard Bertolf driving in a nearby neighborhood. The officers who stopped and spoke to him say they smelled alcohol on his breath.
Bertolf failed a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest, according to authorities.
Police say he faces several charges, including driving under the influence.
