Bridgeport police said a man on a motorized bike was fatally struck near the intersection at Waterview Avenue and Crescent Avenue.
It happened Tuesday morning. Police say the striking vehicle fled the scene.
Police said the victim was identified as 24-year-old Jeffrey Omar Enamorado, of Bridgeport.
Officials said Enamorado was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to his injuries.
In a statement, Bridgeport police said, “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.”
Officials said the cause of the crash and the identity of the suspect vehicle are currently under investigation by the Traffic Division.
