One person and a dog have died following a fire in Winsted on Wednesday.
It happened at a Walnut Street home around 6:30 a.m.
A neighbor saw flames and called 911.
Upon their arrival, firefighters found fire coming from the front window of the home.
It's not clear how the fire started.
The State Police Fire and Explosion Unit and the Winsted Fire Marshal are investigating the cause.
The victim's identity has not been released.
