Police say a Monroe man is facing charges after allegedly calling in a bomb threat to Aquarion Water back in December.

An investigation led to Jamar Wade, who is charged with threatening and falsely reporting an incident.

Officials said a call came in on Dec. 30 about bombs placed in three company buildings. One building in Monroe and two in Bridgeport.

The Monroe building was evacuated and searched, but nothing turned up.

Police say the caller said he used to be an employee but was laid off.
