Bridgeport police say a man is charged with carrying a loaded gun without a permit.

Officials said the suspect led police in a foot pursuit.

Police said Adetola Adetona was walking around Madison Avenue with six other people wearing masks last Sunday.

They spotted the police and ran, but officers caught up to them.

They searched Adetona and found a Taurus G-3 firearm.

The weapon had no registered information.

During the investigation police also found a stolen car and returned it to the owner.

Adetona is being held on a $15,000 bond.
