A Connecticut contractor was sentenced to nearly six years in prison for illegally dumping toxic material in Fairfield.
Officials say from August 2014 through December 2016, Jason Julian, 54, dumped tons of contaminated and hazardous waste – including waste materials from construction and demolition debris – throughout the city.
Julian also faces three years of probation.
