Norwalk restaurant owners say I-95 closure is severely impacting business

Business owners along Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk tell News 12 they have been severely impacted by the traffic caused by the closure of I-95.
Several streets off of Connecticut Avenue remain closed, along with I-95 North at Exit 14.
Enoch Sowah, the co-owner of OSU Jerk Grille, describes the current traffic flow as chaotic, and says the traffic is hurting business.
Sowah says on normal day, dozens of customers eat lunch or a quick bite at the restaurant.
But that has not been the case in the last 48 hours.
Sowah says sales have dropped drastically because people are not stopping in so they do not lose their spot in traffic.
He tells News 12 he hopes the highway reopens as soon as possible so things can return to normal.
"On a typical Friday night, Friday afternoon, you would see multiple vehicles and people sitting under the tent grabbing a bite. But when life gives you lemons, you have to try to figure out how to make some lemonade. Or in our case, jerk chicken" says Sowah.
Sowah and other business owners say they are thankful no one was seriously hurt in the crash.
