Dennis "DJ" Hernandez, the brother of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez, has pleaded guilty to making threats against the University of Connecticut (UConn).

Hernandez admitted to sending threatening messages over Facebook Messenger, including a threat of a shooting.

He was also spotted on the UConn campus the day after making the initial threat.

Hernandez is scheduled for sentencing in February and faces up to five years in prison.

His brother, Aaron Hernandez, died in 2017 while serving a murder sentence.
