A Pink Aid Flag was raised to help bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Westport.

The organization provides support, resources and financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families.

"We help women in 50 states," said Amy Katz, co-founder of Pink Aid. "We help put the food on the table. We help keep lights on. Bills are piling up. They get a diagnosis. Women can't go back to work because they are trying to take care of themselves and Pink Aid comes to the rescue."

Pink Aid has helped over 60,000 breast cancer patients and families since 2011.
