The weather looks great, despite the cold. It will be cool and dry for today with less wind, too.

One more frosty morning in the forecast for Thursday.

Even a slight breeze will create an extra chill as temperatures fall around or below freezing. Wake-up temperatures will range from the low to middle 30s, but it will feel more like the middle 20s. Bring plants inside if you have any outside. The growing season has not officially started here yet.

Please be extra careful with open flames and cigarettes outside. This time of year is known as brush fire season.

Starting Friday, warmer, more spring-like air will be flowing up the East Coast from the Carolinas. This surge of warmer air will make our temperatures climb into the 60s for the weekend and possibly into the 70s early next week.

The weekend looks dry.
