Police: Employee injured during armed robbery at Trumbull gas station

Police say two masked men, both with guns, threatened employees and customers. An employee informed police that one of the suspects hit them in the head with their hand. They were treated by Trumbull EMS for a minor injury.

A Trumbull gas station was robbed at gunpoint Thursday, police say.

It happened at the Shell gas station at 648 White Plains Road around 9:30 p.m.

Police say two masked men, both with guns, threatened employees and customers. An employee informed police that one of the suspects hit them in the head with their hand. They were treated by Trumbull EMS for a minor injury.

No other employees or customers were injured during the robbery.

Police add that the pair left with an undetermined amount of cash and took off in a vehicle that was waiting nearby.

Authorities say they are following several leads with help from witnesses and have collected a variety of evidence from the scene.
