Juvenile dies after e-bike crash in Princeton, police say

Authorities said the juvenile succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

A juvenile who was critically injured in an e-bike crash in Princeton has died, according to police.

The crash happened Sunday, April 26, at the intersection of Ewing Street and Terhune Road. Police said the juvenile was operating an e-moto and was traveling northbound on Ewing Street when they entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound.

Authorities said the juvenile succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the vehicle involved suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Princeton Police Department’s Serious Collision Response Team in coordination with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said no additional identifying information about the juvenile will be released.
