Cause of death revealed for man found in Norwalk harbor

The cause of death for the 69-year-old Norwalk man found deceased in the water of the Norwalk Harbor has been released Tuesda.

The NYC Medical Examiners Office stated that his cause of death was drowning complicated by hypothermia and was ruled an accident.

The Norwalk resident, Michael Tyler was found deceased in the water of Norwalk Harbor near the Water Street docks in March 2026.
