A new free shuttle bus is giving Brooklyn residents a quicker way to travel between two of the borough’s most popular parks.

The “Ordinary Bus,” launched Tuesday by skincare brand The Ordinary, offers free rides between Domino Park and Prospect Park.

“It’s a free bus going from Domino Park to Prospect Park every day, especially on the weekends, so people can really enjoy both parks,” spokesperson Ashley Cordo said during the launch event.

The shuttle takes riders directly between Williamsburg and central Brooklyn in about 30 minutes.

The trip can take close to an hour by subway and requires riders to travel through Manhattan before heading back into Brooklyn.

“We know New Yorkers are very passionate about public transportation, so we wanted to create something that makes this route more accessible for everyone,” Cordo said.

Some riders welcomed the idea, saying it could encourage Brooklyn residents to spend more time exploring neighborhoods outside their own.

“I love going to Prospect Park,” one parkgoer said. “I think people don’t really visit each other’s parks because it’s such a pain to get there.”

Others said they appreciated that the service is free.

The service will only run for two weeks, with buses operating four to six times daily through June 9.

The launch also renewed discussion about transportation access across Brooklyn.

Council Member Shahana Hanif, who represents parts of the Prospect Park area, said in a statement that while the shuttle is a positive addition for residents, New Yorkers should not have to rely on a skincare company for transportation.

Hanif added that Brooklyn still lacks enough public transit options.
