Police: Threat to Brookfield school deemed not credible

A middle school in Connecticut was the target of a swatting incident for the third day in a row.
Brookfield police received a report at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday that they say prompted them to immediately respond to Whisconier Middle School.
Following an investigation and complete sweep of the school, officers determined the report was not credible and there was no threat to students, staff or the community.
Police say during the incident, the building remained secure.
Similar incidents took place this week in Weston and in Westport.
