The threat of scattered severe thunderstorms is in the forecast from 3pm to 9pm as a cool front approaches. High winds and large hail are the primary threats.
The second story will be the high heat and humidity. Temperatures will reach into the lower 90s. The heat index will approach 100 degrees.
Saturday will still be very warm, but you'll notice a decrease in the humidity. Skies will be mainly sunny.
Sunday will be hazy and warm with a chance of late day and evening scattered storms.
