Hip-hop legend and Brooklyn-born artist, Jay Z, is set to perform three shows at Yankee Stadum from July 10 through July 12.
The trio of shows will honor his best-selling albums, "Reasonable Doubt" and "The Blueprint." This year, Jay Z is celebrating 30 years of "The Blueprint."
News 12 spoke with Grandmaster Caz ahead of the excitement.
"Just having him back in the borough is a great thing for the culture!" said Grandmaster Caz. "He's already set a standard and a bar that people are still trying to reach!"
Jay-Z is expected to unveil a surprise at Sunday night's show. News 12 asked Grandmaster Caz his thoughts on the surprise.
"Well, the biggest surprise is that I'm going to be there!" he said. "As far as surprises... there's no telling."
