While rains will continue for the rest of today, the intensity of said precipitation begins to relax. The center of the weather feature that brought biblical rains to the area is sitting close enough where clouds and passing showers could still be a nuisance. This weather feature is beginning to unravel slowly over southern New England. This will allow for some sunshine to peak through for tomorrow. Especially at the beaches. The crummier weather will continue over the northern end of the state for much of the day Thursday.

The weather is much improved for Friday and Saturday. Sunny skies are expected and afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s. Clouds begin to collect on Sunday and it's possible another round of rain moves in Sunday night into Monday.
