A Bridgeport man was arrested in a deadly home invasion in Milford, police say.
Stuar Lopez-Reyes was charged with murder, murder in commission of a felony, home invasion and assault of an elderly person.
He was arrested Thursday in New Haven and arraigned Friday.
The home invasion happened at 871 East Broadway on June 3 just before 3 a.m. During the incident, Fred Werner was killed. His significant other, Sandy Cooper, was shot in the head but survived.
Police did not comment Friday on the motive or how Lopez-Reyes is connected to the victims. They said more arrests are expected to be made.
Lopez-Reyes is being held on a $3 million bond.
