The Perseid meteor shower peaks tonight into early Thursday morning, but viewing conditions may not be ideal. Increasing cloud cover and the chance of late-night showers and thunderstorms could obscure the sky at times, making it difficult to see the meteors.

Thursday stays warm with partly sunny skies and another chance of showers and thunderstorms. Most of the day should be dry, with temperatures reaching the mid-80s.
The weather turns quieter Friday and Saturday with more sunshine and cooler, more comfortable temperatures. Rain chances increase Sunday, especially later in the day, with showers becoming more likely into Monday. Tuesday looks mostly sunny and pleasant.
