A fourth and final arrest was made in connection to a home invasion in Fairfield, police say.

United States Marshals took 33-year-old Leon Jackson into custody in Alabama over six months after he and three other masked, gun-wielding men allegedly broke into a home on Candlewood Road, terrorizing those inside - including two children.

Officials say Jackson, of New Haven, was extradited back to Connecticut on Thursday.

He faces a slew of charges, including home invasion, robbery, larceny, five counts of unlawful restraint and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

According to police, Jackson was identified as a person of interest on the day of the break-in but did not have sufficient evidence to charge him.

Three others were previously taken into custody: 25-year-old Kaleem Uthmaan, of Hamden, 21-year-old Naszar Hobby, of New Haven, and 25-year-old Juan Felix, of Monroe.

Jackson is being held on a $1 million bond.
