City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport launched a new hands-on mural painting program on Saturday.
It is designed to pair experienced street artists with aspiring young creators.
The initiative aims to beautify the city while providing structured mentorship in a rising art form.
"This effort is so great because not only are we getting to train these artists with little or no experience with murals, but we get these beautiful murals added to Bridgeport," said Michael DeAngelo, a teaching muralist leading the project.
