Bridgeport police say they have another man in custody whom they plan to charge in connection with the murder of a 14-year-old boy on Christmas Eve.
Police found the suspect during a routine traffic stop Tuesday night. They say an officer recognized the man from surveillance video of the deadly shooting.
Police say charges are pending, but they are holding the suspect on drug charges.
They added that they want to reassure the public they are doing all they can in this investigation.
As News 12 Connecticut has previously reported, Michael Majors, 23, faced a judge Monday after officials say he confessed to opening fire on a group of people on State Street last Thursday, killing Luis Colon.
Colon's mother, Solmarie Rivera, says she is staying strong while mourning the death of her youngest son.
Rivera says a funeral service will be held for her son Thursday at the Luz de Paz Funeral Home.
