Three families in Bridgeport were displaced following a fire that killed three pets.
The fire broke out Wednesday at 174 and 176 Pixlee St. Flames could be seen shooting out of a third-floor window.
The three families say their lives were turned upside down by the fire, with many of them losing everything but the clothes they were wearing.
Authorities say a dog apparently knocked over a lit candle, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Each family has set up a GoFundMe to help them get back on their feet.
