The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down there during the storm.
Officials say most roads are now passable, and many traffic lights are back on. Eversource is reporting that 3,791 customers are still without power. That's about 30% of the town, but the number is down from the 97% who initially lost power.
Officials say more than 200 roads were initially blocked off due to downed trees and power lines following the storm. Public Works crews have been busy clearing them since Isaias came through last Tuesday.
Both Eversource and United Illuminating are under fire by state and local leaders for their response to the storm.
Gov. Ned Lamont has called for PURA to launch an investigation into their preparedness and response.

Both utility companies say their crews are working around the clock to restore power as quickly as possible.
As of yesterday afternoon, Eversource says power has been restored to around 90% of their customers.
They say the rest should have power back by Tuesday night.
