Stratford event designed to help residents achieve American dream of buying a home

Four Express stores in Connecticut will be closing their doors as the longtime mall retailer files for bankruptcy.

They are located in Westport, Greenwich, Manchester and Danbury.

The company says 95 stores are set to close.

Express says it has received $35 million in new financing from existing lenders. It also has a potential buyer for a majority of its retail stores and operations.
