A Norwalk woman who found a certified check worth a fortune has no regrets returning the money.
Deidre Melton found the check worth more than $409,000 on the floor at Norwalk City Hall. The check was made out as a cash payment from a Torrington law firm to another law firm.
She says she never had any doubts about returning the money.
The law firm that lost the check says it's grateful for Melton's honesty.
