The 45th Milford Oyster Festival was held on Saturday.

 Residents celebrated Friday night with live music and a preview of the food and drinks offered at Lisman Landing.

 Then on Saturday, the festival drew hundreds of people from across the state and nearby states. Many people say it is a tradition to come every year.

 Organizers say there were 30,000 oysters to choose from. They also say they made sure to have other activities for attendees to enjoy, including vendors and a beer tent.

 Many regulars and first-timers to the event say they are already looking forward for next year's festival, this one leaving a great impression.
