Instead of wishing for a special trip or fancy gifts for her birthday, Lea Gebauer, resident at The Inn at Waveny in New Canaan, wanted something centered around family and creativity.

She requested to have the artwork created by her sons, Hale and Harry Allen, displayed in the gallery where she lives.

Waveny, the senior living facility, honored this wish by bringing the brothers’ work together for the first time, transforming their art gallery into a showcase of the brother's paintings and industrial sculptures, showcasing their bond that they share in the arts.

The exhibit runs through Jan. 30, 2026 and all visitors are welcome daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
