Representatives of hotel, rental car and airline companies say business is picking up despite the major impact the coronavirus pandemic has already had on the travel industry.
AAA held an online panel Tuesday for Connecticut agents and customers on how travel companies are adapting.
American Airlines says in July, it will be back up to 55% of normal flight schedules. Right now, the airline is at 20%.
Passengers are required to wear masks, and TSA will allow 12 ounces of hand sanitizer. The use of apps instead of kiosks is also encouraged.
Marriott says to expect hotel staff wearing masks, contactless room service and guest rooms to be cleaned and stripped down.
A spokesperson for Hertz tells News 12 its cars will be sanitized then sealed.

AAA expects this will be a big year for car trips since not everyone feels ready to fly and flights are still limited.
