A former teacher's aide at a school in Fairfield appeared in court today for allegedly dragging a student down a hallway.
Investigators say several witnesses saw John Nuzzolo grab a 17-year-old girl's backpack and drag her about 30 feet while she screamed.
Police say the incident happened at Ludlowe High School in May.
Police say Nuzzolo was immediately suspended following the incident and resigned a short time later.
He is charged with unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
