The man accused of firing a gun into a crowd of people in Stamford appeared in court today.
Police say Dayron Wills opened fire during a fight outside a nightclub near Columbus Park in July.
They say Wills hit five people, but no one was seriously injured.
His attorney said Wills was acting in self-defense.
Wills received a continuance to Oct. 16. A charge of attempted murder was also added to his initial charges.
