An 18-year-old accused of tying up another teenager during a break-in was arraigned on home invasion-related charges in Norwalk Friday.
Police say Jack Socci broke into 20 Devon Ave. Thursday and not only bound the other teen, but also threatened to shoot him if provoked.
Authorities were able to catch Socci thanks to a call from the teen's worried father. Unable to reach his son at home, the father says he called 911 after somehow hearing Socci's threat through the answering machine.
Socci allegedly had stolen property on him when he was caught. Police believe he is possibly responsible for other break-ins in the area, including a previous one at the same home.
