One of the area's biggest toy drives is asking for the public's help in spreading holiday cheer and giving.
Al's Angels was founded to help families experiencing financial hardships, along with pediatric cancer and rare blood disorders.
Through Dec. 18 the nonprofit is collecting new toys for children under 10 for its annual toy drive.
While the main drop off location is Saugatuck Sweets in Fairfield, the nonprofit has over 60 drop off locations.
Toys can also be delivered to drop off locations via Amazon
"This year there's a tremendous amount of darkness in the world and together we're bring tremendous light into the world during the holiday season so we thank you for any support you can provide us," says Al DiGuido, Al's Angels founder.
